The Area
The days at Notleymere Cottage start with a gourmet breakfast and one thing that is completely unique to our area: a breath-taking view of Cazenovia Lake. After you finish your breakfast, either in our 40 foot dining room or overlooking the beautiful lake, you can take advantage of the many attractions the surrounding area has to offer.
The town of Cazenovia has many fine restaurants, and a historic business district with many antique shops and a vast array of ongoing cultural and recreational activities. The town library is one of the oldest libraries in the state; you won?t want to miss it.
Near the area you can find numerous colleges. In addition to Cazenovia College, other schools include Colgate University, Syracuse University, Hamilton College and Lemoyne College. You can also find a windmill farm, numerous antique events and horse shows and even hiking to Chittenango Falls.
